Parity is a video game company that creates story-driven adventure games inspired by Icelandic beautiful nature, rich history, fantastic tales and folklore. It was founded in Reykjavík in the summer of 2017 by a game industry veteran and a former CCP employee, María Guðmundsdóttir.

The company is founded on the principle that the gaming industry in general is craving more diversity in development and in the products themselves. The company aims to create games with more parity and variety which appeals to a broader range of people.
