French artists and designers Axel Nowak and Enzo Seurre met in art school long ago, and reunited in 2025 to create a video game prototype based on the tabletop version of what would then become their debut game, Stack Order.

In 2026, Panflip Studio was officially born (with a name inspired by the crêpe party they had in school).
