Arctic Theory is an Icelandic game development studio specializing in creating massively multiplayer virtual worlds using new, innovative technology.
Arctic Theory was founded in June 2020 by four Icelandic games industry veterans, Matthías Guðmundsson, Gísli Konráðsson, Jón Bjarnason and Snorri Sturluson. They previously worked together at CCP Games on the development of EVE Online, one of the most ambitious MMO titles of recent years. Combining their areas of expertise, the team's goal is to create the next massively multiplayer game and bring engaging experiences to players.
